Infoserve is an established digital marketing business based in Leeds, providing website solutions and online marketing services such as PPC, SEO, Listings and Social Media to small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.


Role Overview 
Infoserve are looking for an experienced and hands-on SEO professional to take on the role of SEO Lead within our agency.


You’ll be responsible for managing the SEO product as a whole; driving the SEO product forward, working with our sales department to bring on new clients, managing performance across a diverse range of clients, driving organic growth through a mix of technical SEO, content strategy and on-page optimisation.


This role is a key role in our range of digital services and involves making the SEO product your own and representing Infoserve’s digital solutions with professionalism and credibility.

Key Responsibilities


Client Ownership & Strategy

  • Take ownership of the SEO performance across a diverse range of clients
  • Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies aligned to client goals
  • Identify opportunities for growth through keyword research, competitor analysis and technical / content audits
  • Prioritise tasks effectively across multiple clients
  • Support with proposals or audits for potential new clients


Hands-On SEO Tasks

  • Carry out on-page optimisation tasks including title tag optimisation, URL structure optimisation, internal linking, heading structure
  • Support and implement content strategies with our internal SEO content writer
  • Execute link building activity where relevant
  • Perform regular technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SERanking and Google Search Console
    Identify and help implement fixes for crawl errors, broken links, redirects and structured data

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor and SEO performance using GA4, GSC and SERanking
  • Track key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings and conversions
  • Monitor automated reports to clients
  • Provide insights in calls with clients and communicate results and next steps clearly


SEO Growth

  • Stay up to date with SEO best practices, algorithm updates and industry trends
  • Show awareness of AI-driven search and its role within online search


Internal Support

  • Share relevant SEO knowledge with the sales team, SEO content writer and the website team
  • Assist the web team in carrying out website migrations for our new website builds


Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • 2–4+ years experience in SEO (agency experience preferred)
  • Proven experience improving rankings, organic traffic and/or conversions
  • Strong understanding of local and national SEO
  • Strong understanding of:
  • on-page SEO
  • technical SEO fundamentals
  • keyword research and content strategy
  • Experience using:
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Screaming Frog
  • SEMrush / Ahrefs
  • SERanking (or similar)
  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts
  • Strong communication and organisational skills


Desirable

  • Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Shopify, DUDA)
  • Experience contributing to pitches or proposals
  • Awareness of AI tools and their impact on search
