Middlewood Farm

Middlewood Farm is a holiday park located in Robin Hood’s Bay, near Whitby, offering touring pitches and accommodation in one of North Yorkshire’s most sought after coastal destinations. In a competitive holiday market, strong online visibility and a clear booking journey are essential to attract visitors planning trips to Whitby and the surrounding area.

Infoserve partnered with Middlewood Farm to design and build a new website, followed by the implementation of a targeted SEO strategy. The goal was to improve search rankings, increase organic traffic and drive more direct booking enquiries.

Our work

We began by designing a modern, user friendly website that clearly showcased the park, its facilities and the surrounding area. The structure was built around high intent search terms, ensuring the site was not only visually appealing but also optimised for search engines and conversions from the outset.

Following the launch, we implemented a focused Local SEO campaign targeting competitive keywords such as “Holiday Parks Whitby” and related location based searches. Through on page optimisation, refined content and strengthened local search signals, we moved the majority of key terms onto page one of Google. This included a three page ranking increase for “Holiday Parks Whitby”, reaching the top three results. Ongoing optimisation ensured that ranking improvements translated into sustained traffic growth and increased booking enquiries.
