A website designed and built by Infoserve was a finalist in the Website of the Year Award for businesses throughout Essex.
The website of Rickard Luckin, a firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers with offices in Basildon, Chelmsford and Southend, was named one of only six finalists in its category at the Countywide Business Awards 2017.
“Due to the whole team’s pride in the website and the recognition I felt it deserved, I entered the site into the “Website of the Year” category at the Countywide Business Awards,” said Kim Aaronricks, Rickard Luckin’s Creative and Digital Marketing Manager.
While losing out to winner Mercury Theatre at the awards ceremony at the Cliffs Pavilion Southend on Friday October 6th, Kim says: “We are thrilled to be distinguished as a finalist”.
Kim is full of praise for Infoserve, saying: “We have worked with Infoserve for many years and our account manager, Andy Scott, has been our go-to guy from day one. Andy’s knowledge, attention to detail and communication skills are impeccable. He clearly has passion and takes pride in his work.
“More recently I worked closely with Maris at Infoserve to build a new website for Rickard Luckin. Maris did a fantastic job and we both worked tirelessly to ensure the new site matched the vision I had in mind. With my knowledge and experience in website design I was able to build the website alongside him after the framework was initially put in place and I enjoyed being able to bounce ideas off each other and work so closely together, despite being at different firms that are approximately 200 miles apart! We are all thrilled with the outcome and launched the new site on 27th May 2017.
I couldn’t be happier with the results so far and highly recommend Infoserve for online marketing.”
Kim explains that the main objective of Rickard Luckin’s website is to act as an ‘online office’, harmonising their unique approach across three physical office locations.
“Visitors can expect to experience the same passionate, personal and professional approach online as they would through meeting us in person.
“As such, our recently updated site is faster, easier to navigate, and offers a whole range of useful features, such as downloadable resources, informative blog posts, news bulletins and client case studies.
“We expect our website to engage prospects, introducing them to Rickard Luckin’s streamlined business approach and the wide range of services we provide.
“Additionally, our website is vital for attracting and recruiting staff, and supporting our employees with key information. We also look to ensure high IT performance that meets all security requirements.
Kim believes Rickard Luckin’s website is different to that of competitors: “We are fully invested in our website as a means to engage with our clients and provide them with an online offering, which we believe is unlike that of our competitors.
“As such, Rickard Luckin includes a hands-on marketing team, with a dedicated and qualified Creative and Digital Marketing Manager who offers the experience and awareness required to design and build upon our website functionality.
“We have concentrated on a friendly and responsive website design that includes a wealth of simplified, easy to follow content that is quickly navigated and easily searched for.
“Our blog posts and news bulletins are regularly updated, so that clients can always expect relevant and up-to-the-minute information from our website.”
