Why
am I able to send a Quick Note but I am unable to fax from any other application?
I select úFaxî from under the File menu, address it, and click úSendî but
nothing happens.

Check your Extensions folder in the System Folder. Locate the åFax Monitor¯ extension. If it is not there, you will need to locate it and place it in the Extensions folder and restart the computer.
You will not be able to image faxes without the Fax Monitor in the extensions folder. As soon as it is placed in the extensions folder, all the faxes you have attempted to send will begin to image and send.
