Why is the speakerphone volume low on my Pace 56 Solo modem when used with the PhoneTools software?

To increase the volume for both the microphone and loudspeaker, use the Swap to volume/advanced keys. You will now be able to manually adjust both the microphone and loudspeaker settings.
If you find that the microphone level is still low, consider plugging an external microphone into the Pace 56 Solo modem. This will enable you to get closer to the microphone and improve the clarity of your speech.

An updated version of the Pace 56 Solo modem firmware which improves the microphone pickup level is available from the driver database section of the Infoserve.com website at http://www.infoserve.com.
Please download this updated firmware file and perform the flash update of your Pace 56 Solo modem.
