To delete the Pace NB 56 Voice INF files, follow this procedure.
Click on the START button, click FIND and select FILES OR FOLDERS.
Click on the NAME AND LOCATION tab. In the NAMED entry, type PMC
In the CONTAINING TEXT entry box, enter 'NB 56'. If you do not see this entry box, click on the ADVANCED tab.
Click on the FIND NOW button to begin the search.
You can select any files that were found and press DELETE on the keyboard to delete those files.You will then need to remove the Windows driver database. Search for the files drvdata.bin and drvidx.bin (they should only exist in the C:\Windows\Inf directory) and delete those. Windows will now no longer have any details of the modem. |
