If you have been able to install the Pace NB 56 Voice modem but find you are unable to make use of it, you may have to free up system resources used by other devices.
Follow this procedure.Click on the START button, click on SETTINGS and then click CONTROL PANEL.
Double click on the SYSTEM icon.
Click on the DEVICE MANAGER tab.
Double click PORTS (Com & LPT). Any ports not being used should be disabled.
Double click the port and place a tick in the box where the device should be disabled.
Restart Windows 95.
You should find the Pace NB 56 Voice modem is now working correctly. |
