Why can't my Pace 56 Solo modem receive data calls in independent mode?

Unfortunately, the Pace 56 Solo modem is not designed to receive data calls whilst in independent mode.

If you have a need to automatically detect for incoming data calls, then you will have to make use of the supplied PhoneTools software.
PhoneTools is designed to differentiate between voice, fax, and data calls and deal with them as appropriate.
