To be able to receive faxes with a Pace 56 Solo modem in independent mode automatically, you would need to ensure that the answer phone is turned on.
You can confirm this by checking if the ANS button is lit.The Pace 56 Solo will listen for the tell tale fax tones when it is answering an incoming telephone call. If the Pace 56 Solo detects a fax tone, it will automatically switch over to fax mode and receive the incoming fax document. |
