To confirm if your Pace ISDN TA is installed correctly on your computer, follow this procedure.
You will need to run COMINFO.EXE from the supplied floppy disk or CD. This a utility program which will check your computer and advise on any problems it may have detected.
Once you have run COMINFO.EXE, you will find the Pace ISDN TA is listed in the current installation section. If you find the Pace ISDN TA is listed, skip the next section.
If you do not find Pace ISDN TA listed, try turning the TA off for 10 seconds and then re-run COMINFO.EXE.Click on the START button, click on SETTINGS, then click on CONTROL PANEL.
Once in the CONTROL PANELs, double click on the SYSTEM control panel, then click on the DEVICE MANAGER tab.
In the DEVICE MANAGER, open the MODEM section. Remove any unused modem references from the modem section and the other devices section.
Reinstall the modem by clicking ADD in the MODEMs control panel. |
