FAQ106 | This error message suggests that the USB port on the computer is not enabled or has a problem. To check this, perform the following procedure. Click on the START button, click on SETTINGS, then click on CONTROL PANEL. Double click on the SYSTEM control panel. In the System control panel, click on the DEVICE MANAGER tab.In the Device Manager list, determine if the option for Universal Serial Bus Controller is available. If this is not available, then the USB hardware within the PC has a problem. You will need to contact the Manufacturers of the computer for further help. If the Universal Serial Bus Controller option does appear expand this section by clicking on the Plus [+] and check that there are no Yellow or Red symbols next to any of the USB Devices. If there are you will need to contact the manufacturers of the computer to overcome these issues. |
